With 20 years of experience specializing in construction accounting, Jenny Rost is passionate about empowering small contractors to grow and thrive in a competitive industry. Her journey began in the trades, growing up with a father who owned a painting business. It was during this time that she saw firsthand how demanding fieldwork often leaves little time for managing office operations. Later, while working for several large local construction companies, Jenny noticed that their smaller subcontractors and partners faced similar struggles keeping up with financial tasks. Recognizing this recurring challenge inspired her to launch Construct Bookkeeping LLC to bridge this crucial gap.

She has called Washington State home for over 30 years—half of that in Pierce County—and is deeply invested in the local community. She enjoys connecting people and believes that small businesses are the backbone of a vibrant community.
