This is an interactive two-day professional development workshop designed for federal, state, and local government offials and business leaders who have a need to, or are required to, develop working relationships with Indian tribes and organizations. The process of developing effective working relationships with Indian tribes and organizations requires knowledge and understanding of: Indian culture, organizational protocols, trust and relationship building principals, legal issues, communication, facilitation, strategic planning concerps, and developing a collaborative environment. Participants will leave with a powerful package of operational tools and principles and a foundation of cultural understanding to immediately begin working with tribes.
