What's Next? A Special Town Hall

Join us for a special Town Hall to discuss ways we can best respond to newly imposed business restrictions. We'll be joined by our 25th District legislators, Sen. Chris Gildon, Rep. Kelly Chambers, and Rep. Cynthia Jacobsen; and Pierce County Council Member Hans Zeiger.

We'll also be joined by Joe Bushnell, Local Government Affairs, with Washington Hospitality Association; as well as local business owners.

State Sen. Gildon is sponsoring Senate Joint Resolution 8201, a proposed amendment to the state constitution, asking state voters to lower the threshold for the Legislature to call itself into a special session. The threshold would change from a two-thirds majority to a 60% vote of lawmakers.

This is just one issue facing small business right now. There are others we wish to address, including transparency in Olympia, aid to small business, and vaccine rollout, among others.
