Government Affairs Committee

Government Affairs Committee (GAC) meetings are open to all members. Come prepared to listen and contribute to the topics of the day. Public and elected officials from our state, Pierce County, City of Puyallup and City of Sumner are regularly in attendance. We discuss issues and policies pertinent to business as they relate to government affairs. Guest speakers are brought in to speak on expert matters.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings are the first Tuesday each month, 8:00am - 9:00am, virtually via Zoom. (Prior to the pandemic, meetings were held at 7:30am in the Chamber office conference room.) 

We are hoping to move to hybrid virtual/in-person meetings in 2022. Meetings are listed on our calendar and Facebook page. 

Since our meetings moved to Zoom, we have made archived recordings of GAC meetings available on the Chamber's YouTube channel.
