Barbara Damashek's Quilters
A series of short tales and scenes matched with
musical numbers, each presenting an aspect of
frontier life and womanhood. The quilt blocks show
‘girlhood, marriage, childbirth, spinsterhood, twisters,
fire, illness and death.’ This is a story of fellowship,
hardship and friendship seen through the quilting that
literally stitched their lives together.
